Fire Mountain Summer BBQ and Block Party

Mark your calendars for the annual Friends of Fire Mountain end of summer party!

SATURDAY- AUGUST 13, 2016 at 4:30 pm.

Join  your neighbors at the cul-de-sac on Avocado and Dunstan – bring something to share, something to throw on the grill, something to sip and don’t forget a chair to park yourself. We encourage you to use recyclable/reusable items and to bring a canned or boxed item to donate to the food drive.

Well behaved dogs, kids, family, and your out of town guests are welcome!

Holly Jolly on Molly – December 6th, 2015

It’s that time of year and the Holly Jolly on Molly  is back! December 6, 2015 from 5:00-9:00 pm.

It’s a great time to meet new neighbors, catch up with long-time residents, and share the news from around the hood. Bring your kids, dogs, and friends and lets bring some end of year cheer to Fire Mountain!

Fire Mountain Social Club at Privateer Coal Fire Pizza

IMG_9602IMG_9606Thanks to everyone who came out to the first Fire Mountain social club event and to the Privateer Coal Fire Pizza, who hosted the gathering. The atmosphere was fun and the food was fantastic! Definitely great times with our awesome Fire Mountain neighbors.

If you missed it don’t worry, there are more chances to mingle coming up. Be sure to mark your calendars for the end of summer BBQ on August 24th. More info coming soon!

Fire Mountain Social Club Events to Visit the Privateer Coal Fire Pizza

The Friends of Fire Mountain invite you to join us for a new series of social events. We will be visiting restaurants and other businesses with ties to the Fire Mountain community. It’s a great way to get to know a business that you might not otherwise know about or maybe didn’t realize they’re your neighbors!

We’re starting in Oceanside with the Privateer Coal Fire Pizza, a business owned by life-long Fire Mountain residents who have been best friends since 2nd grade at Palmquist Elementary. For more information and a menu visit their web site: http://www.theprivateercoalfirepizza.com

Thanks to everyone who came out May 3rd  to the Friends of Fire Mountain Clippings and Coffee Event!

There was a big turn out and most everyone had some unique and beautiful plants to share…combine that with donuts and it was definitely a nice way to kick off the weekend.

Fire Mountain Networking Group Meeting – February 4, 2014

FOFMNetJoin Fire Mountain businesses for the Friends of Fire Mountain Networking Group Meeting Tuesday, February 4th at 7:00 pm. at Café Rosarita, 1816 Oceanside Blvd.

This is a great opportunity to be a part of building the foundation for this group representing the businesses in your own neighborhood.

Order dinner or an appetizer in support of this local business as we discuss opportunities for  increasing awareness of your business among Fire Mountain Residents.

Meeting agenda is as follows:

7:00-7:15 Introductions, visiting and ordering dinner

7:15-8:15 Each business owner will have an opportunity to give a brief introduction of their business and hand out any marketing materials and business cards.

8:15-8:45 Brainstorming period, a chance to share your expectations for the group and share any ideals you may have for promoting businesses in our community.
