Mission hosts Earth Day Festival: Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside will host its annual Earth Day Festival and will honor the oldest pepper tree in California on mission grounds from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 25 at 4050 Mission Ave. The day will feature interactive and educational activities, music, food, lectures and displays for children and adults.
