The Oceanside Arts Commission is proud to announce its third annual Fine Art Banner Display, just in time for July 4th. These ten original works of art are now on display on Coast Highway from Michigan Avenue to Washington Avenue and will remain on view through September. All are on sale to the public, with proceeds benefiting Arts Commission services. The display was juried by the Commission and is from the public fine art collection of Oceanside.

Everyone in the community has the rare opportunity to purchase one of these remarkable works, showcasing a variety of artists’ visions. For details including starting price, and to make an offer, please contact Arts Commission staff Brad Penner at bpenner@ci.oceanside.ca.us or (760) 435-5575. Patrons of the arts who have chosen to make one of these colorful banners their own will be able to pick up their selections when the exhibit is taken down in September.

These are just some of the pieces of fine art that the Oceanside Art Commission has contributed to getting in place for the public to enjoy within the past five years. Oceanside is a beautiful, vibrant community that inspires and attracts talented and creative artists to make it their home, and to help make fine art part of the city’s environment everywhere.
